Adulthood includes many stages of life,. Here, at GCBC, it doesn’t matter which phase of adulthood you are in, there is a place designed for you! Anyone of any age is WELCOME at Grand Cane Baptist Church. Our intention is to build a fellowship of believers through reaching people and seeing their lives transformed. Our purpose is to share Christ, meet needs, grow spiritually, and develop ministry. We do this through bible study and fellowship activities.
Women of Heart Conference is an annual event to encourage and disciple women of every age. This event includes an evening meal, guest worship leader, guest speaker, creative crafts, and door prizes. Last year’s speaker was Rachel Ann Ridge, author of Flash: The Homeless Donkey Who Taught Me about Life, Faith, and Second Chances.
Men’s Ministry – Prayer breakfast 2nd Sunday of the month 8:00am gather for breakfast, encouraging devotional, and discuss community and church ministry projects.
Prime Timers– Leaders Dan & Barbara Dobson: Our Senior adult group enjoys fellowship and encouragement with the Fall Hayride and campfire singing and December Christmas dinner and party, trips to Clara Springs Baptist Camp for Friday Fish Fry, concerts, and guest speakers.
Adult Sunday School Classes:
Sunday School is 10:00am, Sunday mornings [Excepting College/Career Class which meets at Noon]
College and Career Class, led by Robert May & John Franklin meet 12pm after Sunday worship in the Family Life Center for a time of food, fellowship, and Bible Study. Currently, we are watching and discussing the “Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus” exploring new archeological evidence for the Biblical Exodus account. Our Family Life Center has a twenty-foot movie screen with high resolution projection where we enjoy watching our series and also host family movie nights.
Foundations Class (Anyone any age): Jamison May is our teacher. We meet in the playroom in the Family Life Center.
Adult I: Mike Scott is our teacher. We meet in the Family Life Center near the kitchen. Our young adults are a vibrant group, hungry for God’s word, and ready to serve the Lord by serving others.
Adult II led by Jody Meek. We meet in the sanctuary of the main church building.
Joy Class (Senior Adult Women) Glory Windham is our teacher and we meet in the main church building in the room to the right of the old sanctuary.

Wednesday Night – Fellowship Meal @ 5:30pm – (excepting summer months)
Adult Bible Study in the main sanctuary at 6:30pm
